Microsoft has launched a new 'Digital Signage mode' for Windows that conceals the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) on public displays after 15 seconds. This mode is designed for non-interactive displays, requiring an administrator to reactivate the screen using a keyboard or mouse. The BSOD will now appear black instead of blue during this period.
