NCCIA and UMT Collaborate to Enhance Cyber Security Education in Pakistan

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and the University of Management and Technology (UMT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in cyber security education and research. The MoU aims to promote academic cooperation, joint research and development projects, and curriculum support. NCCIA will conduct workshops and seminars for UMT faculty and students, and provide mentorship for final-year projects under its Tech 2.0 Initiative. The partnership is designed to strengthen digital defense and cyber security education in Pakistan, with a focus on emerging technologies like Blockchain and Cloud Computing. This initiative is expected to enhance Pakistan's cyber resilience and prepare a skilled workforce to tackle digital security challenges. Both institutions will also engage in public awareness campaigns on cyber threats.
