The U.S. Department of Commerce’s NIST and the Department of Homeland Security’s CISA have published an initial public draft of the NIST Interagency Report titled 'Protecting Tokens and Assertions from Forgery, Theft, and Misuse' (NIST IR 8587). This report is a response to Executive Order 14306 aimed at strengthening national cybersecurity efforts.
