In a four-day undercover operation named 'Operation Firewall', the Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested 12 men accused of attempting to exploit children online. The operation, which took place from July 15-18, involved undercover detectives engaging with suspects who believed they were meeting minors for sexual activities. Seven men were arrested after traveling to meet individuals they thought were children, while five others were apprehended for continuing online exploitation. The suspects, aged between 22 and 67, utilized various online platforms to communicate with minors. Investigations are ongoing for two additional suspects.
