Orange Business has been selected as the network partner for the EU's TESTA-EIRIS project, aimed at enhancing secure communications for public administrations across EU Member States. The initiative will modernize the EU's digital infrastructure, providing core network services and supporting future growth. The project will include at least 12 Points of Presence (PoPs) across five regions in Europe. Orange Business will collaborate with the European Commission’s DG DIGIT to ensure a secure and private communications network. The system will utilize network infrastructure, cloud connections, and VPN technology to facilitate secure interconnectivity. Richard van Wageningen, President for Europe at Orange Business, emphasized the importance of building a secure European digital ecosystem amidst evolving cyber threats.
