Phishing Attack Targets New Haven Public Schools, Compromising Student Accounts

New Haven Public Schools experienced a sophisticated phishing attack that sent over 10,000 fraudulent emails to students, with more than half of the student body affected. The attack utilized at least four compromised student accounts and aimed to collect personal banking information. Approximately 1,000 emails were opened by students, prompting the school district to assess the damage and warn parents.
