Samuel E. Rodriguez, a 53-year-old man from Plymouth, CT, has been arrested on five counts of voyeurism after police discovered he had installed spyware cameras in his residence. The investigation began in May 2023 when a resident found a hidden camera in a shared bathroom. Rodriguez allegedly placed two cameras disguised as a Bluetooth speaker and an air purifier, which allowed him to receive alerts and monitor individuals in private areas, including a bathroom and bedroom. Police executed a warrant, seizing multiple devices that contained dozens of unauthorized images and videos of individuals in various states of undress. Rodriguez was held on a $200,000 bond and was scheduled for a court appearance on April 14, 2026.
