Quantum eMotion Corp. (QeM) announced its acquisition of Plurilock Security Inc. for approximately C$33.8 million, consisting of 30% cash and 70% QeM shares. The deal aims to integrate QeM's quantum-secure technologies with Plurilock's established cybersecurity platform and customer base, enhancing QeM's transition to a broader commercial cybersecurity business. Plurilock has a 25-year history serving public and private sectors, with hundreds of customer relationships. The acquisition is expected to close following shareholder approval in November 2026. QeM's President & CEO Francis Bellido emphasized the strategic importance of combining AI-driven cybersecurity with quantum technology. This acquisition could significantly shorten the time from product validation to customer deployment.
