On March 23, 2026, Paul Frambot, co-founder of Morpho, announced that the Resolv protocol security incident impacted the stablecoin USR and its associated asset RPL, affecting lending markets that utilized these assets as collateral. Out of approximately 500 Morpho vaults with deposits over $10,000, 15 vaults were identified as having significant risk exposure to the affected markets. These vaults were specifically designed for high-risk strategies and employed long-tail collateral assets. Frambot reassured users that all other vaults, including low-risk 'Premium Vaults,' remained unaffected.
