This project aims to generate approximately 1,500 MW of clean electricity, equivalent to 6% of Sweden's annual power consumption. The reactors are expected to operate for over 60 years, enhancing energy security in Sweden. The decision follows a competitive evaluation process that included options from both Rolls-Royce and GE Vernova.
