RTX Develops Self-Healing Communication System for Military Use

RTX's BBN Technologies has introduced a self-healing communication system called PACE4ACE, designed to ensure continuous data flow for military operations in contested environments. Funded by the Air Force Research Laboratory, this system automatically reroutes network traffic to maintain secure communications even when networks are jammed or unavailable. The technology supports various communication pathways, including satellite links and tactical radios, allowing military personnel to focus on their missions without worrying about communication disruptions.
