Between May 3 and May 7, 2026, the ACSC received 6,138 complaints, totaling 178.43 million baht in damages. Investment fraud remains the leading source of financial losses, accounting for 53.9 million baht despite fewer cases. Analysts observed a significant decline in job scams, which previously contributed to high complaint volumes. The majority of scams reported involved goods and services, indicating a shift towards smaller, more petty scams.
