On July 6, 2026, SK Shieldus announced the commencement of a pilot for its integrated OT/ICS incident response platform at Ecopro's Pohang plant. The pilot is part of the Korea Internet & Security Agency's 2026 Integrated Security Model Development Pilot Program. Ecopro has been enhancing its IT infrastructure and security monitoring across its plants, recognizing the importance of production stability in the secondary battery industry. The platform features a non-intrusive approach that avoids physical modifications to existing equipment, ensuring no disruption to production.
