SK Telecom announced the launch of ALEPH, a government-funded training program aimed at developing practical talent in AI security and network operations. The program, part of the K-New Deal Academy project by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, will run from August to November 2026 in Daejeon, Daegu, and Busan. It targets unemployed youths aged 15 to 34, providing fully funded education and a potential monthly training allowance of up to 500,000 won. The curriculum focuses on real-world applications of AI in corporate security, including network operations, security policy design, and incident response. Participants will engage in hands-on projects to build virtual corporate networks and respond to security threats. The initiative reflects the growing need for practical capabilities in AI as it becomes integral to corporate operations. SK Telecom aims to enhance the workforce's ability to adapt to AI transformations in the industrial sector.
