Skydio Launches F10 Lightrunner Fixed-Wing Drone and MegaDock

On September 24, 2026, Skydio unveiled the F10 Lightrunner, its first fixed-wing drone, at the Ascend conference in Summerlin, Nevada. This drone can fly at speeds of up to 100 mph with a coverage radius of 30 miles, allowing it to cover nearly 3,000 square miles from a single launch point. The F10 operates autonomously without a ground crew, utilizing a Robotic Takeoff and Landing (RTOL) system. It is designed with a unique SideEye camera layout that prevents blind spots during flight. Skydio also introduced the MegaDock, which can house up to five F10 drones and support concurrent missions. Additionally, two new software platforms, Asset Command and Security Command, were launched to enhance drone operations for critical infrastructure and security applications. Customer deployments for the F10 are set to begin in 2027.
