Korea is experiencing a surge in voice phishing crimes as the Lunar New Year approaches, prompting warnings from the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service. In response, the government has deployed on-device AI technology to detect and flag potential voice phishing attempts in real time, enhancing user awareness. KT has also introduced an advanced AI Voice Phishing Detection Service to combat these threats during the holiday period.
