Switzerland's NCSC Implements Mandatory Cyberattack Reporting for Critical Infrastructure

Switzerland’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has enhanced its operational capabilities in 2025, introducing a mandatory reporting obligation for cyberattacks on critical infrastructure. The NCSC processed nearly 65,000 cyber incident reports during the year, with over 220 reports submitted under the new requirement, reflecting a significant increase in cybersecurity engagement in the country.
