The U.S. Space & Rocket Center has introduced two new STEM programs: the U.S. Advanced Cyber Academy for high school students and the U.S. Cyber Academy for middle school students. Both programs focus on teaching the ethics of personal data security and the challenges of the expanding Internet of Things, developed in cooperation with the FBI. The Advanced Cyber Academy runs sessions from June to July 2027, while the Cyber Academy has sessions from June to August 2027. Both camps are open only to U.S. citizens and include hands-on experiences in coding, building computers, and understanding cyber threats. Graduates of the Advanced Cyber Academy may qualify for scholarships to UAH Space Camp. Each program emphasizes team building and engagement with cyber professionals.
