Research by Gen Digital found that nearly one-third of over 14.57 million Meta ads were linked to scams, phishing, or malware, generating over 304 million impressions in the EU and UK within 23 days. Malvertising now accounts for 41% of all cyberattacks targeting individuals, with the top ten malicious advertisers responsible for over half of the fraudulent activity.
