WitFoo Launches 114 Million-Record Cybersecurity Dataset for Research

WitFoo has released the Precinct 6 Cybersecurity Dataset, an open-source collection of 114 million structured, labelled security event records derived from real-world production environments. This dataset, developed in collaboration with the University of Canterbury, includes data from five US-based enterprise customers and spans security operations monitored between July and August 2024. It features telemetry from 158 security products across over 70 vendors, with 99.34% of records classified as benign and 0.11% confirmed as malicious.
