Account & Settings

Manage your profile, subscription, email preferences, and organization settings.

Access your settings from the avatar menu in the top-right corner, or navigate directly to Settings.

Profile

Update your display name, company, job title, and profile picture under Settings > Profile.

  • Display name -- shown on shared reports and comments.
  • Company -- associates your account with your organization for team features.
  • Logo upload -- accepts PNG, JPG, or SVG (max 2 MB). Your logo appears on exported reports and shared feeds.
Tip: Filling out your company info helps ThreatCluster recommend relevant threat categories during onboarding.

Email Preferences

Control what ThreatCluster sends you under Settings > Email Preferences.

Setting Description
Threat alerts Immediate email when a tracked entity appears in a new cluster
Daily digest Summary of top threats from the past 24 hours
Weekly digest Weekly rollup with trending entities and score changes
Product updates Release notes and feature announcements

Toggle each notification independently. Digest frequency (daily or weekly) is configurable.

Note: Threat alerts require at least one tracked entity or custom feed. Set those up first under Feeds.

Subscription Management

View your current plan and manage billing under Settings > Subscription.

  • Current tier -- see your plan name, usage stats, and renewal date.
  • Upgrade / Downgrade -- compare tiers and switch plans. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Billing portal -- update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel. This opens Stripe's hosted portal.

API Key Management

Manage your API keys under Settings > API & Integrations.

  • Generate -- create a new key with an optional label. The key is shown once; copy it immediately.
  • Revoke -- disable a key instantly. Revoked keys cannot be restored.
  • Usage -- view request counts and last-used timestamps per key.

You can hold multiple active keys. Use labels to track which key belongs to which integration.

Tip: Rotate your keys periodically. Generate a new key, update your integrations, then revoke the old one.

Organization Features

Organization management is available on the Business and MSSP tiers. Access it under Settings > Organization.

Creating an Organization

  1. Go to Settings > Organization and click Create Organization.
  2. Enter an org name and optional description.
  3. You become the Owner automatically.

Inviting Members

  1. Click Invite Member and enter their email address.
  2. Assign a role:
  3. Owner -- full control, including billing and member management.
  4. Admin -- manage members and shared feeds; no billing access.
  5. Analyst -- access shared feeds and reports; read-only org settings.
  6. The invitee receives an email with a join link.

Managing Roles

Owners and Admins can change member roles or remove members from the Members tab. Role changes take effect immediately.

Note: Each user can belong to one organization at a time. Leaving an org removes access to its shared feeds and reports.

Notification Preferences

Fine-tune in-app notifications under Settings > Notifications. You can independently toggle:

  • New cluster alerts -- when a tracked keyword or entity surfaces in a new cluster.
  • Score changes -- when a cluster you're following crosses a threat score threshold.
  • Feed updates -- when new items arrive in your custom feeds.
  • System announcements -- maintenance windows and platform status.

Notifications appear in the bell icon menu. Email delivery follows your email preference settings above.
