CardLab to showcase biometric security at Cyber Security Festival 2026

Innovationnewsnetwork • October 15, 2026

CardLab will exhibit its biometric authentication technology at the Cyber Security Festival 2026 in Copenhagen on 18–19 October.

The company will demonstrate how passwordless security can help organisations protect digital systems and physical environments from unauthorised access.

The Danish technology company will present its Access FIDO biometric card at Stand No. 5, combining fingerprint recognition with FIDO2 authentication to verify user identities and strengthen protection against phishing, stolen credentials and identity fraud.

The exhibition will give visitors a chance to meet the CardLab team and explore how biometric authentication can make secure access stronger and simpler.

Moving beyond password-based security

Established in Denmark in 2006, CardLab specialises in biometric authentication , electronic biometric smart cards and secure identity solutions.

The company was formed after its founder experienced credit card data theft, prompting a focus on making digital security more robust and convenient.

Its technology uses fingerprint recognition to verify identities, replacing traditional passwords with biometric, tokenised access. This approach is designed to protect sensitive information, systems and transactions while reducing the risks associated with compromised credentials and identity theft.

CardLab’s solutions support a range of applications, including secure workplace access, payments, identity verification, remote working, government and healthcare services , and digital identity.

Biometric authentication at Cyber Security Festival

At the Cyber Security Festival, CardLab will demonstrate how combining biometric identity verification with FIDO2 authentication can support passwordless access across digital and physical environments.

As organisations face evolving cyber threats, verifying that a person is genuinely authorised to access a system remains a central security challenge. CardLab’s approach places identity verification at the centre of access protection, rather than relying solely on passwords.

The company aims to make strong authentication a seamless part of everyday digital life, balancing security with ease of use.

Visitors can meet the team and discover the Access FIDO biometric card at the following location:
