The following platforms are known to be affected:
Palo Alto has released a security update to address a high severity in GlobalProtect Gateway and Portal in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition to the firewall.
Affected organisations are encouraged to review Palo Alto's CVE-2026-0227 PAN-OS: Firewall Denial of Service (DoS) in GlobalProtect Gateway and Portal security advisory and apply the relevant update as soon as possible.
A vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software enables an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) to the firewall. Repeated attempts to trigger this issue results in the firewall entering into maintenance mode.
