WASHINGTON (7News) — At least five men are facing charges as the feds investigate a plot targeting Sunday's White House UFC event and more arrests could be coming.
FBI Director Kash Patel first posted the investigation on social media Tuesday morning, after reports the plot.
"On June 10, FBI and our law enforcement partners became aware of a potential threat to the UFC America 250 event in Washington, D.C. involving individuals outside of the National Capital Region," Patel said in a post online. "Thanks to the rapid action of this FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, multiple individuals are now in custody and allegedly planned attacks were stopped cold."

Deputy Director of the Secret Service Matt Quinn later held a news conference, adding some details on the scheme to attack the event on the south lawn of the White House.
"I'll tell you the Secret Service led that investigation from the beginning. I'll tell you that it's ongoing. In order to maintain the integrity of the investigation and the security plan, we chose not to leak it," he said. "It was a serious threat. It was an active plot and it is ongoing."
The plot involved explosive-laden drones, according to ABC News sources, designed to hit buildings in the area to spur a mass evacuation. A "second wave," according to sources, was planned to rush the checkpoint. Quinn confirmed the plot involved the use of drones and snipers.
"There are still suspects at large and we're going to work it until everyone has been identified," Quinn said.
As the feds look for the rest of the people behind this plot, we are learning more the five who have already been arrested.
Here's everything we've learned so far.
Tycen Proper, 19, was arrested at his parents' on June 10, records show.
Investigators said they were contacted by his parents. His father told investigators that Proper had recently used $3,000 of his graduation money on camping gear, ballistic plates, a new shotgun, "lots" of ammunition, extra magazines and plate carriers, according to court records.
His mother then told the FBI that her son had been communicating with an ultra-religious, anti-government group. She believed they were using religion to manipulate her son, according to investigators.

In an interview with the FBI, records show Proper admitted to planning a coordinated attack during Sunday's UFC event on the White House lawn. The plan was to stage a demonstration during which drones would detonate in one area of the UFC arena, according to investigators. As people evacuated, his group would start shooting, according to the documents. They planned to shoot the crowd and high-value targets, including the wealthy and politicians and, records show, some of the targeted lawmakers were those who took money from "pro-Israel PACS," according to TrackAIPAC.com.
Proper, 19, faces conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States, attempted murder of any officer or employee of the United States, and gun charges.
Bryan Omar Roa and Michael Alan Thomas
Bryan Omar Roa and Michael Alan Thomas were both arrested in California. Investigators said Proper identified the pair by their social media handles, @noble_0066 (Roa) and @whiskey_six_actual (Thomas).

Investigators said they were able to identify the men after filing a request with TikTok for the user information connected with those accounts. Further review of Roa's social media showed videos and pictures of him engaging in tactical training in remote locations, records show.
Investigators said Proper identified Thomas as a key planner in the UFC attack. Phone messages show Thomas and others exchanging maps of locations around Washington, D.C., where they were planning the attack and their escape, according to court documents.
The FBI said they found a message from Thomas describing "tiers" within their anti-government group.
"Tier 1 operators may be asked to put themselves in harms way, break the law, and potentially go into hiding. Tier 2 would consist of get away drivers, drone operators, and direct support. May still be asked to seriously break the law. Tier 3 may be a runner, or part of the Underground Railroad. Indirect support, recruitment, supply, logistics, tech.. still actively contributing, but most likely safe from legal issues. Tier 4 social media influencers, protesters, funders, press, followersnobody being asked for much or taking any risks. Tier one status is not something to take lightly. You will be sacrificing for your country, and carrying a brunt of the weight. I want to make that clear that we will all sacrifice for tier one operators. We will make sure they have an escape plan, backup plan, transportation, three meals a dav and a 17 defense position to hide out. All the tier 2 support we can provide. We will try to break them out of jail if we need to."
Investigators said Roa and Thomas discussed meeting in person and training together.

When he was questioned, the FBI said Thomas admitted to his role in the plot, stating that he saw himself as the planner and advisor for the group, and while he was not willing to take action himself, wanted to guide and instruct others on how to carry out attacks.
"Thomas said that the aim of this and subsequent attacks was to create enough chaos to bring the overthrow of the U.S. government. Thomas indicated that he believes that the U.S. government is run by an elite group of individuals who sacrifice and consume infants who also were deeply involved with Jeffery Epstein and are now protected by President Donald Trump," the complaint reads.

Agents said conversations between Proper and Eskridge showed them discussing targeting specific U.S. Senators at the UFC event.
Another chat showed Eskridge trying to rouse other members of the group to action, investigators said.
“So right now in the historical timeline, I believe we are at the ‘trigger event’ point. Meaning to set this off we need an event or events that cause people to realize the revolution has officially begun,” records show.
Agents said they also found another message from Eskridge laying out the planned attack on the UFC event.
He added that he intended to be "leading from the front as one of the 5 snipers."
Eskridge faces a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.

Investigators said they found several chats on Proper's phone with someone using the online handle Shepard. In the chats, Shepard can be seen identifying potential targets, which the FBI believes included President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Elon Musk.
Agents filed a request with TikTok to identify the user going by the handle @unitedworldwide444.
