Orange forms JV for Pisces subsea cable system with Equitix, MDM

Orange announced a new joint venture (JV) to deliver the Pisces subsea cable project, linking Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal. The cable system is partly funded by the EU's Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), most recently through a EUR 18.9 million grant earmarked for phase three of the project. CEF has also co-financed phases one and two as part of wider support for Europe's Digital Global Gateways Strategy.
