Hackers are using fake event invitations from OpenAI, SpaceX, and Anthropic to conduct phishing attacks targeting Microsoft and Google accounts. The attackers employ two phishing-as-a-service platforms, Kali365 for Microsoft device code phishing and VoidProxy for Google account interception. Victims are lured with promises of free access to premium AI services, leading them to malicious registration pages that capture their credentials. Push Security detected and blocked these phishing attempts in late October 2026. The campaign mirrors previous phishing efforts that exploited legitimate event platforms, indicating a trend in using AI-themed lures. The phishing pages were designed to closely resemble authentic event websites, increasing the likelihood of victim engagement. Push Security identified two custom phishing kits, ZoomMock and MSDRoot, that share infrastructure and targeting tactics.
