The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has appointed Socura as its Official Cyber Security Partner in a three-year deal aimed at protecting its digital infrastructure ahead of the UEFA Euro 2028 and the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Socura will provide comprehensive cybersecurity services, including 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and staff training, to safeguard the FAW's systems, which support 822 affiliated clubs and 120,000 players. This partnership follows a significant digital transformation at the FAW, increasing its reliance on online systems for connecting players, coaches, and fans. The collaboration aims to enhance cyber resilience and promote best practices in cybersecurity across the football community in Wales.
