NFSU Goa Lab Gains National Recognition for Digital Forensics

The Digital Forensics Laboratory at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Goa has been officially designated as an 'Examiner of Electronic Evidence' under Section 79A of the Information Technology Act, 2000. This recognition allows the lab to examine and certify digital evidence in computer and mobile device forensics, enhancing its legal admissibility in Indian courts. The lab becomes the second NFSU facility to achieve this status, joining a select group of 21 recognized laboratories across India.
